sensory play

Children of all ages and abilities benefit from the experience of sensory play. Taught by educators with professional and educational backgrounds in special education and early childhood education, this class will be planned based on the abilities/needs of the students.

Experiences for tactile input may include squeezing a handful of clay through one's fingers, exploring plants from our organic garden, or enjoying the sensation of swimming through an ocean of parachute waves.

The benefits of sensory play are extensive, including the development of motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and opportunities for language development. Come have fun, get messy, and make friends in this exciting new class!
