Fairy Bed Craft Project
One of our older students described this project to us, and we have used it on occasion during our fairy camps and fairy house events. It is easy to make and inexpensive. The craft can be incorporated with an outdoor activity during which children can look for materials. Depending on the age group of the children the actual construction of the bed may be best done beforehand.
Materials
- piece of cardboard approximately 3"x5"
- 4 small sticks 4-5" long
- assortment of natural materials.
Instructions
- poke a hole 1/4" or so from each corner of the cardboard
- insert a stick into each hole, these will be the legs and posts of the cardboard bed. The cardboard should be an inch or so from the floor
- for added strength you can add a spot of glue from a glue gun to each hole
- once the beds are constructed they can be decorated
