How long are your birthday parties, and how is the time spent?
Our birthday parties last 1.5 fun-filled hours.
1 hour for arrival and theme birthday party; 30 minutes for cake, opening presents
(optional), and/or additional games.
When are your birthday parties held, and how early can we arrive?
Typical birthday party hours are 5-6:30 on Fridays and 10-11:30, 2:00-3:30 or 5:15-6:45 on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday times may be available upon request.
You may arrive 15 minutes prior to your birthday party.
Do you have a refrigerator, freezer, and sink?
Yes
What ages are your birthday parties intended for?
1-10 years. Content is
altered so that activities are age appropriate, however, some
birthday parties are not suitable for very young children. Please inquire.
Who runs the birthday party, and how are behavioral problems handled?
CreativeWorks staff conducts all parties.
Although such occurrences are rare, parents are responsible
for any out of the ordinary behavior problems, and for adherence to the rules.
How far in advance should I reserve a date for my birthday party?
Reservations are
recommended two months in advance, however, some dates will be
available with less notice, and some unavailable with more notice.
How many children can/should I invite, and when do you need to know how
many children will be attending?
We have conducted birthday parties for up to 30
children, however, we recommend birthday parties with 15 participants or less.
A final head count is needed four days prior to the birthday party.
If you are ordering birthday party favors, a birthday cake, pizza, etc., we need an estimated final count
at least two weeks prior to the party.
Are all of your themes always available?
Themes are subject to change.
Please inquire as to whether or not your theme of choice is available when booking your birthday party.
What should I bring to the birthday party?
If you choose CreativeWorks party favors,
cake, etc., nothing. Otherwise, you should bring party favors,
cake, candles, and beverages. We have a lighter and cake server.
What types of things do you do at a birthday party?
A typical birthday party includes use of
wonderful costumes/accessories/props, and includes some or all of the following:
music, unique theme-related games (usually non-competitive), dance/movement
games, treasure hunts, acting out stories, etc. Some birthday parties may include special
lighting/atmosphere etc. (bubble machine, etc.) We are happy to answer
any questions you may have about the content of specific themes! We understand
and thoroughly enjoy children, so your birthday party will be a wonderful experience!
What is the history of CreativeWorks?
CreativeWorks for Children LLC is committed to providing unique, high-quality, interactive programs
conducted by instructors with over eleven years of professional experience in the arts and education. In
addition to Birthday Parties, we conduct regular classes and playgroups for children ages 1-10. We offer drama, music, art, creative
writing, and playtime. We also conduct programs for schools, scout troops, libraries, child care centers, staff workshops, seminars, festivals, playgroups, and
special occasions.
